Wierd happenings with web site

I just posted a new reply on the "Air Horn Experts" thread, post was verified and I could read it after I was done. Then when I cleared that web page and went back a little later, that post was not there. Vanished.



Now coming to the web site forum, I noticed that a reply I made on the the "generations" forum has suddenly appeared here in this forum??



I also noticed that the BD transmission thread has appeared here in this forum.



I think the server needs to be rebooted..... or the pointers to the messages has been corrupted.

I'll keep an eye on it but so far you are the only one to have noticed anything strange going on. Everything looks normal on the server. Do you use the "view new posts" feature to read all the posts? There have been a number of cases over the years of people using that feature posting in the wrong forum because they were on a different post than they though therefore the post went into that forum. I will monitor the situation.

I was either using the "View New" or "last days". Don't recall which. I was reading the thread on the train air horns posted by Yo Hoot and hit the "post Reply" button.



All went well, the Preview looked good, Submit worked as it should, and the display to read the post worked also. I scrolled back up to verify that Yo Hoots post was there w/pix of the Train Horns above the rear axle.



After that, poof! I did a search for new posts, and have looked several times in the last couple hours.



No money lost, so no real problem. I just thought you would appreciate an update on Server Anomalies.
