Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) wierd noise after mods?!?

Alright, last saturday, 3/11, I installed my 370's and 4K springs with the help of Jeff Garmon and David Dunbar.

First of all, wow!

Now from 1100-1700 rpm its making a funny noise that sounds like a big block gas engine with a manifold leak (best description I can come up with).

I thought it was an exhaust leak, but it didn't have one when I got there and it happened suddenly when I left so I don't think that's what it is, plus I couldn't find one.

It runs fine so this noise isn't affecting performance any, just wondering if anyone had encountered a problem like this.

Please excuse me if I don't respond quickly, I don't get many opportunities to get online anymore but I'll try.

I think all you are hearing is drivetrain grunt. First off, you should not run without a plate, it will damage the pump. Anyway, with no plate and 370's you should be making some serious low end torque and your transmission is definitely grunting along with everything else but the transmission the most.
