A little history - I got the wife a truck to drive and have the minivan for sale. Tonight on the way home she asked why the turbo was not as loud as James truck. I told her I had put a Pscotty on his. She said "oh good, I thought it was because he has a 6-speed. Why can I hear your turbo a half mile away?" I told her it was the monster exhaust. She then asked how long it would take to put that stuff on her truck. :D :D

oh no... . the wife looks like she wants to compete against you. . :D

good thing: she won't whine when you spend money bombing your truck, as long as you do hers at the same time. :)

bad thing: having to bomb 2 trucks will make things real expensive:(

hope you win the local lotto... :D:D:D:D

It is a VERY RARE moment when a wife wants her husband to something that he could actually enjoy and not screw up. Its usually "take out the trash, mowe the yard or fix something, that we as men would normally throw away and buy a new one because we don't want to get our a-- chewed out for screwing it up worse. " As far as the cost is concerned "Forget about it!" Think like most (not all) women do. "TAKE IT OUT IN TRADE" I have never one a conversation or spat about money yet with my wife and don't plan to. But you have to put up a small fight. One, to let her know who wears the pants in the family and two, when she looks at you with those big eyes and calls you honey (so softly) you've got it licked!!! and you've got her... ... ... ... ... RIGHT WHERE SHE WANTS YOU!!! I think women look good in pants.

I will not bill for this valuable information.

Wife and I were driving through Albuquerque today and stopped at a traffic light. To our right was a used car lot with a '99 droF Diesel standard cab sitting there. My wife looked at it and said, "Hmm. '99 Diesel. It's a little one. " She's starting to notice those things.

When I read the subject, my initial thoughts were "Find a new wife". Thinking to see a future post "Wifie bites the dust".

Just goes to show you all things are not what the 1st appear ... hello RE-0880! Hello B-1 on wifies!

Obviously what wifie likes on hers ...

I sure was pleased when SWMBO(she who must be obeyed) said how much she appreciated the exhaust brake. Its real nice to see her making expert use of it when towing.

Got to be real careful here. The spell checker offered DUMBO for SWMBO!

I think you guys have this lucky thing all backward. My wife hates my truck and never wants to drive it :D That is what I call lucky. :D I bought one of the new body style 300ZX's when they first came out in 1990. She loved that car. How long do you think it was before she was driving it all of the time? I love that my wife hates my truck. She does not understand diesels or big trucks. I tell her I need to buy something for the truck and she says buy what you want, I don't care. That is lucky!!!

My wife complains about the noise of my truck, but seems to like other aspects. She was all proud of the fact that she blew away a powerstroke wrecker (bobtail) at a light. No complaints 'provided' the truck goes faster when I am done...
