Thought I'd share these. Taken from my kitchen door a few minutes ago. It's amazing how tame the deer are here.

I know many of you take pictures of the animals in your area. Why not post them here.

Took these in March on my way to Houlton one morning. This family feeds the deer and they were everywhere.

I am guessing that neither of you guys have a vegetable garden…I have to have about 3 acres fully fenced off so that my wife and can actually eat the veggies and look at the roses that we take the trouble grow . If I were to take a picture of deer that close to my house, it would be through a scope…lol.

Sure do plus a Vinyard. All if it is surrounded by 6ft nylon deer fence. Would be pointless to plant anything around here outside of a fence.

You're going to miss that if you ever move out here. We don't see cartoon characters on our sidewalks. Of course, we don't exactly have sidewalks either.

Counting down. Counting down. Not far from where I am now there weren't sidewalks when I was a kid. I want that back. However we have LOADS of deer and predatory birds on the island.

Just a few from this summer. Those are two of my kids and my sister out kayaking within 20-30' of a grizzly. I later followed it back across in a canoe taking pictures from about 30'. This was the wrong post to start, I'm a photo nut as a hobby. Took 4800 in three weeks of holidays and that is normal for me.

Oh yea, we saw this guy. A 1/1000 chance to see one. We got a full view of him on a back country road, but this is all I got for a picture. Just enough to prove that we saw a Kermode bear.
