Will '06 and earlier tail lights work in an '07?

I want to put a set of '06 and earlier tail lights in my '07. Obviously they will fit the bed. Will the '07 light plugs plug into the '06 tail light and work correctly? The '07 has one less stop/driving bulb. The '06 has a setup that only one bulb works as turn signal and the lower bulb works as the stop light.

Anybody done this??? I don't like the '07 tail ilights

Like you said, physically theyll fit. But for them to work, youd have to change the wiring harness...

I tried swapping with a buddies 07, my 06 had one more connector/bulb, than his 07, they appeared to mount in the same location, screw holes etc. , but the harness and I think connectors were different.

Do you know if the harness is interchangeable where it plugs into the main harness?
