Will 07 seats fit in a 05?

I was wondering if the seats out of an 07 will fit into an 05. I've been looking to replace my cheap center seat with one that opens (should have bought a SLT to start with). I was also wondering if anything is different about the seats in the newer trucks.

I've had the seats out of my '03 to fix the sagging front seat foam. I have also had the center seat out of the '07 and they look exactly the same and the bolt holes for the center seat match up with the '03 bolt holes.



As far as the difference between the '07 and '05, I'm not sure when they started going with the manual lumbar wheel on the outboard side of the seat, but they used to do an electric lumbar that was a piece of junk. That's the only difference that I can think of.

If you have the mounts like this, the rear mounts will be a little taller than the front as the console has a raised part at the rear. On a Mega Cab, there is ductwork under the console and some kind of black box. If you want the lower box that extends all the way down to the carpet, don't get the console out of a Mega cab. Not sure if all the under seat storage units are the same now or not, or if they make them that go all the way down to the carpet.

Mine in my 2004. 5 are the same as picture and I do have a centersole/seat/underseat compartment that goes all the way to the floor in my 2004. 5 quad cab push button 4wd (I hate having no shifter 1st time and last time for me) and automatic (has not shifter on the floorboard is the significance).

I'm going to try it. I stopped at the dealership and looked at an 07 today. As best as I can tell it should work. My truck has manual seats, the ones I'm buying are power. My truck has a cord coming out the floorboard under the drivers seat, maybe it has fire to it.
