Will 2002 tow mirror fit 2000?

All I can find is the 2002-2006 tow mirror that flips out... I would love to have that one if it will fit my 2000 anyone try this yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Search the 2nd Gen forums for "mirrors" and you'll find it. As I recall, you have to attach the 3rd Gen mirrors to the 2nd Gen base.

The 2002-2006 mirrors will not fit your truck as delivered, here are a set that will fit though

You've got to have the 2nd gen towing mirror bases to do the swap!

I thought I could swap my oem bases? If not where can I get the towing bases... thanks

The tow mirror bases are different than the smaller roundish mirror. Unless you can find some bases or partially broken towing mirrors on flea-bay or at a local junk yard the only other option is to buy a set of manuals and a set of powers which is rather expensive.
