2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Will 98-02 mirrors fit on a 96 truck?

I just picked up a 96, and it has the CIPA power extendable towing mirrors. I'm going to take these off(look like elephant ears to me) and put stock mirrors back on. I like the looks of the 98-02 mirrors better than the earlier ones, and was wondering if they will bolt right up without any problems. If there is a difference then i will have to narrow my search to the earlier style mirrors.

I dunno about the little mirrors, but I do know that the flip up towing mirrors will work. I have a set on my 97 so I imagine the little ones would work too because they all have to mount the same.

They bolt up the same. If they are electric, the wiring connectors are different.
