will a 1994 Chevy 3500 Crew Cab 4x4 SRW have room for a 6BT?

my friend is sick of his worthless scrap of iron called a Chevy Diesel. I ran the thought of him putting a CTD in it, and he says "Money is not an issue. If it will fit, I am all for it. " Hey! a new convert! will this work?? someone please help me out on what all is needed to do the swap, as he needs help, ASAP! nice truck, crummy motor! Thanks!

Here's a thought... in the IN Auto and RV this week was a 1990 8. 3 C with 150 miles with an Allison to go with it for $2000. It gave the CPL # and said the Ally has a crack in the bellhousing. I'll call them and get more info if your friend wants me to.
