Will a Dodge Cap fit a Chevy or Ford?

I have an fiberglass cap/topper that I removed from a 2nd gen with an 8 foot bed. Does anybody know if this will also fit a Chevy or a Ford? Or is it a Dodge only item?



I'm just trying to open up my market of potential buyers

Nope. I had a cap from an 89 or 90 chevy on my truck for the winter, and my bed is about 1. 5'' too long for it. Side fit is ok.

It's possible it might fit a Ford. I had a cap from my Dad's 67 F-100 on my 96 for a while. Didn't fit exactly right, though. They didn't taper the bed back in 67.

I had a cap from a 2nd generation Dodge on my 94 F0rd. It did not follow the cab line but it fit.



I tried a cap from a 80's vintage Chevy on my Dodge, it was 2 short, but it got me a place to stay that weekend.

I guess it is only going to fit properly on a 2nd Gen Dodge.
