2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Will a plow frame fit with 03 conversion?

Before I get ready for this conversation with the parts counter guy, does anybody know if a plow fit kit for my 02 3500 will work now that I've done the 03 track bar conversion? The plow is a 9'2" Boss V. I've had several and don't see any potential interferances, but maybe somebody has been down this road already?

No, I's sorry to say it won't. I have a Boss 8' HD plow and tried to put a 3rd gen track bar kit from Solid Steel on and the bracket for the track bar wouldn't fit around the plow frame. Grinding it down to make it fit ould have weakened the track bar bracket too much. So I ended up selling the track bar kit and getting a Thuren adjustable track bar, which is a really nice heavy duty piece. By the way, the Boss plow is the best plow I have yet used, and I've tried most of them!!!

Jong is right, it wont work my Meyer MD-II hook up has a mounting tab right where the 3g trac bar would go. I should re-fab the bracket but that means Id have to pull the mount off... I put it on 2 yrs ago and it was a PITA!! I guess we'll see how things go.

I picked up my meyer for 1000 being a year old so I cant complain.

western offers a nice plow as well
