Will a Smarty fix a glitch???

I've had a whole mess of quirks goin' on with my truck for over 100K. Nothing I do seems to fix them. Rough idle for the last 6-8 months. A skip going down the road that's getting more frequent... it's pretty much constant. The next time I get past my dealer, they're going to reflash for the latest version. They looked up my truck on their computer and found the flash I had done a while ago is no longer the latest available. We'll see.

Has anyone had little quirks go away after installing a Smarty?

Getting the latest update Chrysler update will eliminate any software variable that the smarty could... .

Well I never got the reflash 'cause the service manager said the flash would also include the "moving with door open" horn blowing thing that everyone hates so much.

I did get the truck reflashed at the dealer a while ago. No backup horn, that must be an auto only thing.

It didn't help the skip. That was gone most of the summer but now that it's cooled off again, it's back. I swear there is something about my truck's programming that doesn't like cool weather. It will come and go as the day progresses and the temp changes. I'm almost afraid of what will happen if I try to make it thru another winter.

Yep. All that did was lighten my wallet a little.
