As I am replacing the front leaf srings on the 1990, I have been thinking of different possibilities. Then this one presented itself.

Will a W350 front spring fit on my W250 without any issues? To my memory, the bolts are the same, the axle mount would be the same, all should work, right?

Anyone ever done this? Would the same be possible for the rear, 350 in place of 250?

Thanks!

Yep. Bolts right up. I've used '84s in '90s, and '92s in '85. They're all the same length, the primary difference is the thickness and number of leaves. You may have an issue with u-bolt length, and maybe the stud on the diff side will be too short if you add too thick a spring pack.

On the front springs I believe the '92-'93 trucks w150-w350 and ramcharger used 5/8" front spring bolts as opposed to 1/2" like all years previous. FYI.

Pepecat has something I forgot about. But is that 5/8 or 9/16? I usually get them rebushed, but I can't remember what size they are. I rebush them to use the larger bolt and drill my mounts to accomodate. Didn't make it to the barn today to check on the '93.....
