i have an EZ on my '01 ...

with the map sensor disconnected but with the ez connector still plugged into the factory harness it allows fuel on command ...

doesn't wait for boost ... thinks it's there all the time

i like it because it allows quick fueling when needed ...

do the 325hp ez's do the same?

AFAIK the EZ needs both rail sensor and map sensor values to fuel properly. The EZ makes the CP3 do nasty things when not connected properly...

You can wire in a "smoke switch" which essentially does what you want, but you're sending a full 5v signal to the ECM instead of no signal. You can find multiple write-ups on DTR about the smoke switch. IIRC you'll get codes if you leave it on too long.

thanks ...

i'll look it up ...

was a nice "free" mod for my '01 and we're thinking about some sort of mileage improver for the wifes '06 ...

she doesn't want adjustability ...

"just push the pedal down a little further for a little smoke, like the '91 and the '01"

god she's a good girl
