From looking at Darrin's bracket, it looks like the DT track bar be used, instead of using the 03 bar. Any idea's if this could be made to work?

As it is right now, the stock track bar hits my front diff(with mag hytec). Darrin's bracket appears to move the mounting point forward about an inch or so, which would give me the clearence I want. I would like to use the DT track bar since it has the non-bushing type ends(not sure what they are called) and it is adjustable.

Hmm... I understand now.

Good idea, but not sure his will move it forward enough when the suspension is at full extension. I live in the town the DT bars are made in. Let me know if you need anything... haven't been by the shop in a couple years, wouldn't mind going by and giving the owner some crap.

Makes sense to me... I'd contact Darrin and get his thoughts on it. Spherical Rod Ends are what came on my DT Trackbar, FWIW... (I've also heard them called Johnny Joints or Heim Joints, although I think Heim joints are different).

If all else fails, you could have a "custom" trackbar bent to your specs to clear that Mag Hytec cover, then use the DT ends on it. Adjustment would be a little harder but not impossible, and once it's set, you shouldn't have to worry until time to replace the rod ends.

Sounds good. I will contact Darrin and first find out how far forward his bracket moves the mounting point, unless someone out there who has Darrin's bracket installed wants to get out a tape measure and crawl under their truck. :) I did read somewhere that DT was comming out with a bracket that will work with the Mag Hytec. Anyone know about that?

I was the one who started saying that DT was going to make a bracket for use w/ the mag-hytec. That was 2 years ago when I got a group buy going on the DT bars. He told me he was working on either a modified cover, or a change to his trackbar... neither ever materialized... not sure why.

I checked with Rip, and he is figuring Darrin's bracket moves the mounting location about an inch. He didn't have any exact specs though. If anyone can do a quick measure, that would be very much appreciated. Otherwise, I am going to order Darrin's bracket and then see what I can do with the DT bar.
