I have an egt, transmission temp and boost gauge at my house ready to install. If I have no other modifications to my truck, will the gauges alone void any warranties? Thanks for the input.

No. Now, if your transmission temp gauge blew out and dumped the fluid, the dealer probably wouldn't want to cover something like that, but gauges themselves do not affect the operation/performance of the vehicle (except to allow the driver visibility into how the truck is performing) so they do not void the warranty.

I'd be willing to bet a dealer would void your warranty on something like a turbo failure, if you had a pyrometer with a pre-turbo probe installed. They'd probably blame you for dropping shavings in the turbo. In my experience they look for anything they can to deny you warranty coverage because they make more money on a customer-pay visit. I don't think the boost or trans temp would be an issue.

I think you'll be fine though. My local dealer's tech said he wished everyone installed EGT gauges and praised me for waiting to shut down after we took a ride.

I think the only issue with gauges is if they believe you have them because you're a hotrodder.
