Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Will installing a 3K GSK kit allow my motor to overrev?

Will installing a 3K GSK kit allow my motor to overrev and cause damage?



I'm asking this cause for some states emissions testing is done full throttle - right up against the governor. If I install the kit and move to one of these states, will I have a problem?

No, the 3k kit is good to about 3400 at the most. There are guys running a lot higher than that.

do a search on snap idle tests... there was a post where a guy explained how to neuter your truck for the test... you basicly enable a throttle stop
