Will my 01 filters will fit my 04.5 motor?

Sorry, I'm sure this was addressed before, but I have several Fleetguard Stratopore filters that I bought for my '01... . I know they don't have the notched butt for the filter wrenches, but are they otherwise the same filters?

How's Tucson treating you? I used to live there for about 8 years between 1977 - 1985 (near Orange Grove and Skyline - if those roads still exist and haven't been changed too much!)

Your "older" filters not only fit, they are cheaper than the new filters with the notched housing!

Scooby: Things are going well for us here in Tucson. We moved here from Colorado two years ago for my job, which has been working out very well. Sure do miss Colorado though. We live in SE Tucson near Houghton Rd and Irvington Rd, about 6 miles north of I-10.
