Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Will my VA box work in all 24 valvers?

I have a VA CPC in my '99. It's up for sale and was wondering which trucks it will work in should somebody with a newer than '99 asks. Thanks in advance...

I do believe so - It plugs into the VP44 CAN-Bus, which I think is shared by all VP44's in all years. Does it plug into the MAP sensor? I'd heard the the newer VA's did so, and if it does, then it would be specific to certain years as the MAP sensor plugs differ from year to year. But if it plugs into the VP44 only, it'll fit any ISB. How much are you asking?

The older VanAaken boxes had programs specific to the High Output 245 HP engine, and the regular 235 HP engine. The label on the top of the VA box has quite a bit of information on it.

I tried an old, original version vA on my ETH a couple years ago. Worked great!



I ran an ETH-Specific vA on my ETH for 9-10 months and it worked great too but I think it wasn't quite a strong. I sold it to someone who put it on their '99 or '00 and they say it works good on their non-ETH motor. It seems to me there is virtually no difference.

Brewski, I was asking $375 but I think at this point I would take $300. It doesn't plug into the map sensor so it sounds like I'm in good shape. Thanks for the info guys. I would have called VA but it looks like they're somewhere in Europe and that's not a long distance call I want to make

I am selling a VA in the classifieds too. Mine is currently on a 98. 5 24 valve and I wanted to know what years it works on too. I e-mailed Auto Wurks Diesel where I bought it from and they said it would only work on a 98. 5 or 99.



I have a practical Solutions Boost Module and Boost Elbow for sale with it.
