Archived Will not accelerate

Early ' 98 12V - went out to start this AM and all was OK - started and idled but accelerator would not work. Worked fine yesterday. On my way to get a rental. Any ideas?

Throttle cable?

Daniel - it's a throttle cable connector. This was a recall item that I had done sometime ago. Dodge said that they will do it again and pay for the part, but I will have to pay for labor. Guess the didn't count on it lasting over 250k miles.

When mine broke, I was told it was replaced with an upgraded part that would last this time.

That's what they told me too but the OE didn't break, I just had it replaced with the recall at 100k - this one broke after 150k more. I think I may just make it a PM item and replace it every 100k. Hate to think what would've happened if I was in the accel lane and pulling when it broke.
