Will not start

My 04. 5 has been parked for a couple of weeks, went out to start it today and the batteries were dead. Not sure if I left the key in the on position or not Charged them up and now it will turn over but not start. Any ideas?

Do you hear your lift pump working after you tap the starter??

If you leave the keys in the ignition, the odometer will remain lit even with the doors closed. The result... dead batteries. I've done this already... twice. Also, the HO engines like ours may not start if cranking rpm is insufficient from low batts. The ECM may want to see a certain minimum cranking speed before it allows fuel delivery.

You were right when I had the batteries back to full charge it started. Thanks all for the help---now if I could just get the milage up on this truck it would be great.
