will not start

I have an 03 dodge 1 ton. Thougt the problem was a bad injector, too much bypass casues it not to start. The fuel gague was at a 1/4 of a tank. I brough the fuel level up to 1/2 a tank and it starts just fine and runs great. Is this a problem with the lift pump? Does any one else have a similar problem?

The fuel pick up snaps into a socket in the bottom of the fuel level sending unit. They sometimes com loose and rise up from the bottom of the tank. You must pull the sending unit to check.

Do the third gen still have the infamous fuel sending unit that the 1rst and 2nd gen had? If they do, you mite have been out or low on fuel.

Bad lift pump might cause it too. Still on my original, but I have a spare Holley replacement pump under the seat.
