Will PPE Hot for 05 auto work on 05 6 speed?

Just wandering if a PPE hot thats for a 2005 auto truck will work on a 2005 6 speed. I thought I had read that they were programmed different for 6 speed and auto.
 
The PPE Programer has a specific model for the 6-speed, however, I believe the 6-speed version will work on the auto.
