2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Will the air bags work with ignition off...?

Hypothetically…If one were to be sitting in their vehicle (regardless whether it is diesel or gas)… with the ignition off… and another vehicle were to hit it. Would the safety airbags deploy?

Hypothetically, No. The ORC module which controls airbags and seat belt locks is not supposed to work with the key in the "Lock" or "ACC" position.
