Currently my 98. 5 2500 fits right in my garage. .

It appears that the new 2010's are taller.

Will a new 2500 4WD fit in a standard garage, or will it be too tall...

When you live where baseball sized hail happens every year. . you need to know these things up front!

Thanks to all.

Hi Larry. Believe it or not, I fit my truck in my garage. I have to park it at a slight angle. Look (click) at my sig to see how big it is... . I have about 3" clearance above my roof-marker lights when I go in.

I have to make sure the door is all the way open -- beyond it's natural position. The garage door opener opens it enough but if that's not connected, the door doesn't open enough.

Hope this helps!

Sometimes the tape measure just isn't as good as a nice test drive... ..... So I was shocked when the dealer let me drive mine home to check something before I bought it. Maybe your dealer will let you?

My 3500 does.

My garage is 7' (84 inches plus or minus a few for the seals that hang down for the electric door and the concrete has moved over time). The thing to watch out for, if this applies, is the Nav/Sat antennas that are on the roof. They stick up about another inch and are not included in the standard posted dimensions.

Yes! And roof marker lights like I have too!!!

Good point Craig!!!

I don't know if there is such a thing as a standard size garage. The standard for door height is probably 7' (+- a couple inches), and a 4x4 2500 will fit under it with several inches to spare. As far as length is concerned you have to measure your garage. My 2500 short bed just fits in my garage, a long bed would not.

It Indeed Fits!!!

Brought home my new 2010 2500 cummins 4X4... it just slid right on in...

One thing I have to do is to replace the stock Radio antenna as it scrapes the door header and door pretty hard on pulling in and out...

Dodge dealer had a smaller black antenna, and ordered it for me today...

I miss my 98. 5 ram already... . though this is indeed a really nice replacement!
