I asked this same question before and couldn't get a answer. I've even asked the dealer and couldn't get a answer.

Good Luck

Delo is not a mobil oil, it is Chevron. Mobils diesel oil is delvac. It probably depends on who won the bid to supply the dealership. It could be Valvoline Premium blue, or Shell Rotella also.

I was not sure which one was which, But I am sure it was one or the other who had this oil contract with DC. There must be someone who knows the same to this question.

The few quart bottels I purchased at the dealer had VALVOLINE on the containers and the one gallon container in parts department display case also said VALVOLINE on them.

Like the Saturn V rocket with the Apollo module attached, you can be certain that the oil is from the lowest bidder. It's kind of slow here today. Should we start a discussion about API certification? :-{}

When you buy a MOPAR part, there's no guarantee that it's the same from one to the other. Mopar oil filters are made by all kinds of cats and dogs, though the CTD filters are all fleetguard. A 318 filter might be wix, baldwin, or some other Champion filter.

Same for starters. Denso? Delco? Who knows?

Knowing what I do about Mopar stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if one jug of MOpar 15w40 was Delo, another was Valvoline PB, and another was Delvac:rolleyes:

The four years I was working in a Mopar dealer they had a contract with Valvoline. Now the dealer can buy bulk anywere but the bottled in blue was Valvoline.
