Will this bigger Rim/Tire combo work??

I have a stock '99 4wd and came across a really good deal on a set of 16. 5 x 9. 75 rims with BF A/T 33" x 12. 50 tires. I'm concerned with fit and clearances. I believe the backspacing is 5". Should I stick with 16 x 8's and avoid the headaches?



Will I need fender flares, leveling kit and what other concerns should I be aware of?

My experience has shown that they will rub slightly at full lock or if the suspension is compressing upon turning (driveway for example).

MJawsman is right. The only problems you will experience will primarily be turning while going through a dip (i. e. ditch).



As far as clearance at full lock, yeah its close but my 33's have never rubbed just when turned on a level road.
