will this stuf work?

A neighbor has asked me if it would be ok to burn transmission fluid in his ctd. I don't know. Perhaps someone here can enlighten me. Pros and cons. I know from expierence that it will burn sorta. I ran out of fuel in my 76 Mbz on the way to a bar exam , taking a friend with a broken leg, He was swetting bullits can't be late for one of those. so out of desperation I pored a couple of bottles of transmission fluid in the old smoker and off we went. It didn' run real good but it ran and nothing bad resulted.

I'd have to say don't do it. Transmission fluid has stuff in there for friction. Not the best thing to run in you fuel pump. As for an old mercedes... I've been told they would run on finely crushed dirt.

It's like using sand paper to wipe your butt, It will work but you wont like the results!!!
