willys pick up with cummins

Just thought this would be kinda cool has anyone seen or done one? 4BTA or 6BTA? also has anyone ever swaped a 3126 cat into any pick up truck?

Looks good steve. What do you (or your wife) plan to use the willys for? Are there any good sites to look at for old willy? I'd like to use an old pick up for haulin wood, etc. good luck on your progress

I stuffed a Buick V6, out of a Commando, in a Willys wagon back around '82. Fixed all up pretty like and then someone swapped me a Land Rover for my BMW 900 boxer. So, I sold the Willys.



I'd go with a 4bt because imho the 6bt is tooo heavy.

With as much time and money into this thing it's going to have to earn it's keep. Daily driving down narrow dirt roads loaded with gear (I wish), going to the store for beer, and as many of the Willys picnics as we can get in.
