With my Lucerix mirrors installed, I'm running outa reasons to get a newer truck. The only thing left that I really wanted is 4WD. What about a winch and a 12,000 pound rated Danforth boat anchor. Couldn't that get me, my Dodge, and my Lance outa any sand I get stuck in?

Don't know if you're serious or just kidding a little because you're getting the itch for a new truck. ;)

If you're serious, check out the Pull-pal anchors at http://www.pullpal.com/

I don't have any personal experience with them, but they seem to be getting good write-ups from the 4WD magazines, and are designed for exactly this purpose.

HC--you're right on the write ups--its sure look like it'll work-but real hand experience is what we need--anybody out there have any experience... . chris

I had one that I used with a 71 LandCruiser when I would go trail riding. It was a nice pc of equipment that saved me more than once, although I'm not sure how well it would hold something twice as heavy as a Land Cruiser:)
