Trailer Wax & Cleaner?

Do any of you have MPG gain as the result of mounting a wind defector ?? My camper kills the MPG - air drag is much worse that weight !!!

Any prefered products ???

www.taylorwings.com This is where I got mine. If it don't improve your mileage by 10% they will give you your money back. Looks real neat also. Send me your e-mail address and I will try to send you a picture of mine. Expensive but worth-it. MHO

There have been a great deal of discussions on this subject on this board- you might try a search. My Fifth wheel is a full standup bedroom = high profile = pulling a brick wall. I have yet to talk to anyone who has seen mileage improvements of more than about 5-7%. However, I've heard that they do tame alot of the drag and jerkyness- in my opinion, that alon is worth it. I'm just waiting for some more OT money before I look into a Taylor. Real expensive, but real nice. There are less expensive fiberglass out there, but they don't look as nice.

You guys that are looking to buy a wing take a look at Wingmaster. . www.wingmaster.com

I bought mine from a friend of mine and it works great. Our 5th wheel is the mid height and the wing really helped. One hill that I climb with the trailer, I noticed that I went within 100-150 yards of the top before I dropped down into 4th when before I put the wing on, I shifted to 4th about 1/4 the way up. So it did help the drag greatly and also it helped the mileage. I gained about 1-1 1/2 miles per gallon... .

Its worth the money... . and looks tight(that what my kids say)
