2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission window switch up and down sometimes it works and sometimes it don't

I pulled one of these switches apart before and was able to clean the contacts with CRC and Diamond Cloth. It took care of the problem.

thanks how do you get it out of the door please don't tell me you need take the door panel off

Pull off the door lever cup,(is black with 2 screws holding it on. ) and you might be able to push the little metal tab that holds the window and door switch in. The metal tab if I remember rightly has a cutout tab in the middle that you have to release before it will come out. If one of the window or door switches on one side goes out both sides do. At least on a 97. I didn't see your rig at the bottom of your post. Hope this helps.
