I had a lund visor on my truck. It attatches to 4 screw holes in the roof, and one in each a pilliar. The lund will cover up the carb lights most likely. The center ones at least.
I had a lund, and the air did not flow over the truck right after the visor install. Fuel mileage suffered by 1. 5 to 2 mpg with the visor on. There was lots of air noise after the install. It would vibrate and shake, worse when driving into a headwind. The windshield wipers never worked right with the visor on, and when passing trucks on the interstate the wiper on the driver side would blow off the windshield, catch on the visor and then brake the wiper. Not fun at 70 mph, in the hammer lane, passing a semi, in the rain. I removed and changed bug shields, and it did not help. I for one will never put another one on a first gen. I will never recommend one installed on a first gen either. It looks good standing still, but is not nice going down the road.
I pulled mine off and mileage went back up, the wipers worked right, and now I have rust spots on my roof, and screw holes to repair.
