I checked the previous threads on wiper problems and mine is different than any I could find. My intermittent position is acting odd. When turning off, it may continue to operate for another 2-4 swipes before shutting down. Once it stopped in the middle of the windshield. Works fine on slow and fast mode. Just the intermittent mode is acting up. Is it maybe a module as mentioned in other posts or the switch?

Mine did this, it was the switch, the multi function switch which is built into the end of the lever at the steering column. I had mine fixed and replaced under threat of safety issue to Chrysler as my blinker was also flaky, indicating wrong blinker form the side I selected. If you blow out the contacts and reinstall you might be good instead of buying a new one. he contacts are sensitive, and over time, electronics always act up. I hate this design too. Wipers need to work, always.

If it is on the older truck do a search for multifunction switch and there are a couple posts with photos on how to clean up the switch.

Subscribed to see what your solution turns out to be. My wipers have been behaving that way for several years now. Mine do two or three swipes during intermittent mode, when the truck is OFF occasionally they will swipe once when the wiper arm is lifted to clean the windshield (I hate that), they swiped once when the ground wire under the hood was removed for cleaning and they have stopped on the windshield as you described only a couple of times over several years. Seems like guys chase their tail when fixing their wiper problems and to date there has been no one thing identified as the common cause. I do like the multiple swipes during the intermittent operation mode, so unless the intermittent operation fails altogether or the wipers start acting up during low or high speed, I'm leaving things as is. Hope your fix is simple and cheap.

This chart may help

Using an ohmmeter, test the resistance between the terminals of the switch as shown in the Multi-Function Switch Tests table.
MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH TESTS
SWITCH POSITION (PINS) *RESISTANCE RANGE (OHMS)
BEAM SELECT/WASHER NEUTRAL (1 & 2) OPEN CIRCUIT
BEAM SELECT ON (1 & 2) 518 - 575
OPTICAL HORN ON (1 & 2) 1257 - 1397
FRONT WASHER ON (1 & 2) 2584 - 2871
TURN/HAZARD OFF (2 & 3) 2643 - 2937
HAZARD ON (2 & 3) 115 - 128
LEFT TURN SIGNAL ON (2 & 3) 345 - 384
RIGHT TURN SIGNAL ON (2 & 3) 786 - 873

Don't do what I did...my windshield wiper motor went (had no functions at all) I went cheap and bought just a windshield wiper motor on-line thinking I was saving some money. Installation wasn't to complicated but I only had slow and fast and nothing else. Very frustrating! I dealt with it for awhile, it only lasted a few months and of coarse the day of a hunting trip while its snowing out that wiper motor decided to go. I broke down and had no choice but to buy a whole assembled unit from the dealer. It was about $200+ or so. I now had all my wiper functions and knock-on-wood its now three years strong.

Don't waste your time and money, just buy a new one. My two cents.

Thanks for all the responses and tips. *It does act like a dirty switch problem but may be more complicated than that. *Therefore the OHM tests might be a good way to diagnose. *But I will have to find out how to access those points to test it. *I have one auto parts store manual that may have that info. *If it comes to replacing it, I will try to get the MOPAR replacement. *It might be the same one as on the 2014 truck. *They operate the same. *And I will look for the other threads on this like sag suggested.
