My windshield wipers quit working on me last night. Before they died they would work on high and normal but, not with the delay. With the delay they would pulse up and down about 1/4" to 1" . I checked the fuse and it was ok. Now, I'm trying to find the relay to see if the wiper switch is the culprit or relay or motor. I checked the fuse box under the hood but, it doesn't show any of those as being the wiper relay. Thanks for any help!

W/W Problem

Scott,

My 95 manual says that the intermittent wipe module is on a bracket located behind the knee blocker. The module can not be repaired.

Check fuse #8 in the fuseblock module.

If this does or does NOT fix your problem, please post again.

Then it is on to Plan B. I will try to get you more info on what/where to check with meter. :p

It SHOULD've been under the hood because I hear it snap on & off when on the delay. Don't hear them on the new trucks.

BHH,

Order of things to Check.

1. Check fuse #8 in the fuseblock module.

2. Check motor operation in all w/w switch positions.

3. Place w/w switch in LOW position and listen to motor. If running, check motor output shaft. If output shaft is not turning, replace motor. If it is turning, drive link to o/p shaft or linkage is not properly connected.
