I have replaced the turn signal switch and the intermiten wiper module under the dash and my wipers still act goofy?

RE:wipers

I had some problems with mine awhile back. They wouldn't come on when it was cold out. Turn the defrost on let em warm up and they would work in all modes. Its warm now so I don"t know if they're fixed or not. Guess I'll find out this winter.

wiper module

The new intermitent wiper module i installed will click when the wipers turn on, they will work fine for a while and then they will just keep wiping like i turned the switch to high speed. Then when you shut the wipers off, unless they are at the bottom of the windshield they will stop as soon as i turn the switch off, were ever they are at and they won't go back to the bottom of the windshield. Any ideas what the problem might be?

RE:wipers

Fox I can't help ya there. Awhile back someone else posted about having the same problem but can't remember who it was. I'm waiting for cold weather to see if mine act up anymore.

My wipers just started doing this two days ago. They work fine on low and high, but on inter. they will stop mid swing and when you trun them off you have to time it so the wipers are on the bottom of the windshield. I'm hoping it is just a connection loose under the dash but if not how much did you pay for the wiper module?

I think the parking position of the wipers is handled by the motor which would indicate a motor problem. Keep us posted as to what the problem turned out to be. Junkyard might be a good place to find the motor as they seldom go out.
