windshield wipers

I am having problems with the wipers on my 02 3500 the wipers are very slugish in all modes except hispeed when the wipers are moving slowly they seem to want to stop but if you try to stop them with your hand they push progresivly harder against the pressure any ideas THANKS B. G. SMITH PROBLEM SOLVED Ichecked all the wiring and found nothing so i took the motor out and dissasembled it and found it to be full of water installed new module as Dodge calls it since they don't sell just the motor

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere? If you have a volt meter, set the meter to the lowest volt reading above 12 volts, turn the wipers on one of the lower speeds and connect one lead of the meter to the ground terminal on the battery and the other to the case of the wiper motor, if you read any voltage, the ground circuit is incomplete. Mau be a ground strap on one of the mounting bolts for wiper motor, strap from truck cowling to battery or frame, etc. bg
