winter guards?

IS there anyone that is still making the winter guard radator inserts for our first gen trucks?

I dont know of any inserts but I am using a weather front, and screen that snaps onto the same snaps. Very nice for both seasons. I would gladly give you vendor info if you need.

I've got a set for my '99 Sport. They work great, and look good too.

Yeah the insert kind like that Shovelhead but someone made some for the first gen model. Those wont fit my truck.

I made a deal with Eric and made the templates for the first set of 1st generation grill covers. They held up very well last winter and improved the time it took to get the heat into the cab. You might e-mail Eric and ask him. I know he couldn't get all of his 1st gen covers sold last years, so I bet he has some left.

The one's I have are made by Lund, they look like the one's pictured a few posts above. I bought them for a few years ago but i'm sure you can still get them through any truck accessory store.

I bought mine from Whitney a few years ago. They had lund cold fronts and inserts with holes for warmer weather.
