Duck Duck Go

Not a good time for this Tugboat....the noises....

My wife and I woke up to snow this morning one day before Halloween. The weather people are forecasting another 3 to 6 inches of snow for Halloween day.

This is about 2" of snow right now, roads are somewhat snow covered and slick since no one is out salting the roads yet. No one has their plows on the trucks or salt spreading equipment on yet.

I noticed a few State trucks that were laying some liquid on the roads. Didn't know if it was anything more than water to get things ready for approaching storms in the next few days. But when I went to open a gate for some harvest crews there were streaks on the roads like they have been brined

Looking forward to some cooler weather to get these arthritic bones use to the barometric pressure change and stop creeeeeking

Getting near time for that new body oiling system you have ?

Dave its been on for a couple of months now. The idea is to put it on when in warmer weather so it thins out and creeps into all the super tight places to do its thing to stop rust before it starts. It really does creep, on an 04 the truck bed has holes in the inside I assume to use as hold downs. I put the foot long hose attachment in the pockets as far as it could go and gave it a good squirt. I have Rhino Liner in the bed, a few weeks later it looked like a wet spot around the pockets where the fluid film had creeped out. With all the problems my Son had with his brakes I decided to give mine a squirt of grease on the caliper pad slide hardware. Even with lots of rain since its application it was still covering everything that was sprayed.

NO RUST ANYPLACE!! I think its money WELL SPENT
