ericbu12@etrucker.com is how I contacted him.

The fronts are nicer than a set from Lunds, but the mounting hardware cheapens things.

I put mine on with carriage bolts which I painted black and put wing nuts behind for quick on and off, looks better this way. ;)

thanks that adress is the one that came back. i just found another. if i get to eric i will try your way chuck with the wing nuts. thanks again ed

fasteners/fronts

you might consider using the nylon plastic bolt, nut ,washer. paint, use marker, what ever to color the top of the bolt head. I designed mine about 5 yrs ago, can cover all the openings except about 40 squire inches in the center of the grill, can all so do that if need be. made mine out of aluminium sheet, powder coated.

just my pennys worth.

mlee why do you have to leave opening in middle. i wasnt going to cover the openings in the bumper is that ok to do . this is new to me. always had gassers. just got this 9-12-01 thanks ed

weather front

The reason is, that it is recomended, in the manual, to leave a section in the middle of the rad. mainly for the air exchanger. you'll never see big rig, unless really cold with his rad. complety covered, yes air, will get in and around in to engine comparment, i stated 40 sq in. thats realy about 6 1/2"x 6 1/2, not that much, i think mosyly to work with the air exchanger. most of the weather guards don't cover up the openings in the bumper either. but you can do this if you want, i just happen to have the covers to do this on mine, it helps a little on warm up, temp does'nt get any hotter. this is, just the way that i decided to do it, I hope that this has been some help.

Hey all,

I have had some problems with the etrucker site. , even to sign on to the mail...

Working fine now...

I did the bulk and cheap bolts for bulk availability. I still have the same bolts on mine, no rust at all and still tight.

You are welcome to bomb the mounting, if you want.

let me know if you want a set from either of the e-mail sites in my sig.

Thanks to all that bought my winter guards, I am planning on doing them next year and if I still have some in the summer, I will still sell them but maybe at a reduced price.

Thanks again,

Eric
