Well after getting the bug deflector on, the OEM washer jet performance was useless. Any speed over 15 mph and the fluid ends up on the hood. And, the turbulance makes the wipers skip. I had the same problem on my 89 but did the same fix I did here.
The wiper arm jets are from an 89 DC Van and were cheap. Then some 3/32 washer tubing, 5/32 to 1/8 tubing connectors, zip ties and some 1/4 plastic instrument tubing and voila. . 25 minutes and I have "wet arm" wipers. Works great now that the salt and snow are coming. Just for extra force on the wipers installed "Sure-Wipe" wiper arm springs to keep the wipers on the glass and got steel framed wipers.
I have to steal the digital camera for some pics and I have all the part #'s for it if anyone is interested.
