I got the "one size fits all" Mopar replacements... ... the stock ones come on and off easy but I can't seem to get that plastic adapter piece to slide onto the arm fully. How much pushing can it take?? The ones on the Jeep are identical so I'm looking forward to the same challenge there :-(

They are very stiff. Check that you don't have a shred of plastic in the groove getting in the way. I've taken a pair of pliers to help squeeze it on there.

wiper replacement

I just replaced mine last week, $18 from the dealer. I had to fiddle with it for a while before I got the proper angle of insertion. It didn't feel very secure, there is just a tiny plastic tab holding the wiper to the arm. In reality, there is no place for it to go, it's not going to fly off. The little bag-o-adapters wasn't necessary for my '02. Gave 'em a good workout this past weekend, new wipers are good!
