Wiper control switch

I'm having some intermittent problems with the wiper delay and activation on my 2004.5. Seems I have read about a fix for these before including maybe just cleaning contacts. Scanned the Genos catalog and did not see a replacement part. What is the difficulty in getting to this switch? Do you have to take the steering wheel off?

After posting I see the link from before but it does not tell me if the switch can be cleaned or is replaceable. Maybe the whole turn signal part and wiper control needs to be replaced????

Yes the switch is easily removable and cleanable.

That said, I bought an OEM replacement and then modified it so I could run both high beams and low beams together for brighter forward lighting.

Then I installed the modified one in place of the malfunctioning one and then cleaned and modified that to have for a spare.

Thank you. Now to find the switch. Not sure yet if I want to do this twice so I might do as you did and have one on hand.

Mopar #56049823AB

Though if you can still find it, Mopar #CNH3X200AA is the same switch and is MUCH less expensive.
