Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) wiper motor jammed

anyone know what year trucks I could get a wiper motor to fit my 98 ?, I have seen other years listed on e bay but don't know what to buy ?

guess I jumped the gun on this , had the wiper motor out and it tested good , removed the wiper relay and it still blows fuses , unpluged the washer pump and it still blows fuses , so I would guess it's going onto the dealer I will not mess with the steering wheel to get at the switch , anyone know of something simple that I would be missing ?

Our local AutoZone carries the 2nd gen wiper/turn signal/high beam switch assembly. I went in there asking about an intermittant wipe module and that's what they brought to the counter instead. It looks like all you need is a screwdriver to swap it out. All the wires connect to the back with one big plug. Doubt if it is a very big job to change.

thanks for the reply , I removed the plastic covers on the column but I think I will buy a repair manual before I go farther , messing in their near the air bag make me a little nervous , I did bypass and wire in a switch so I do now have wipers but no washer , thanks
