Hi, the other week my windshield wipers quit working. Fuse and relay is ok. The motor would run when it was pulled from the linkage, but really slow. Went and got a new one, hooked it up to the linkage and seemed to work well. Bolted the linkage down, installed the cowl and wiper arms and nothing. Any ideas? Thanks

Was it a rebuilt motor?

I had nothing but problems with 3 rebuilds, returned all of them, not from same place.

I bought [h=1]Dorman - OE Solutions Windshield Wiper Motor Part No. 601-303[/h]which is a new motor from advanceauto and it works like a champ. The depth of the spline where it mounts into the arm is a bit different, however, has not been an issue in 2 years.

Yes I got the same exact motor . Before the wipers stopped working I pressure washed the engine and sprayed engine shine on it ,may be caused it. Not sure

Ok, sure feel like an egghead. It ended up being the ground to the wiper motor. It was loose, tightened it up and works fine. Nothing was wrong with the original motor. Maybe advance will take the one I bought back. Im glad I got in there anyhow, a lot of debris in there that needed cleaned up.
