Need some advice. I recently picked up a set of MOPAR stainless steel Dodge door sill protectors for my quad. The kit came with some "primer" that had to be painted on the sill and some double sided tape. The smaller ones for the rear door holds fine, but the larger ones for the front doors seem to want to rock and lift up at the edges. I was thinking about getting some small stainless steel screws and putting one on each corner to hold them down. But then I was thinking that with my luck, there is probably a wire harness under that plastic sill and I will put a screw right into one. Are there any wires under the sills? Is this a good way to fix the problem or can someone think of a better way? Thanks, as always for the good advise!

used the same step shields. I put rivets on both ends of both the front and back sill guards. Just pried up the molding and drilled, then pop riveted. There are wires there but they are not "close" to the molding. My thoughts were with screws, they could loosen, they could "rub" thru the wire loom when stepped upon, or could be removed too easily So went with rivets.

Just my opinion and "sticking" 2 it :D
