Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know what wire (color code) on the 8 pin connector that is at the left corner of the front bumper that the fog lights are plugged into? I do not have for lights on my 2016--2500 and have changed the front bumper and mounted some LED fog lights and wish to hook them up. I think I will just use one of the AUX switches as I would have to buy the new headlamp switch with the FOG button on it, but, lI would like to have a wiring diagram or some idea what sources the 8 pin connector I am referencing above. Thanks !!

Howdy,
Just checked my OEM SM on my 2017 Ram 5500 and no joy, don't see fog lamps routing through an 8 pin connector. I would have thought front wiring would be the same on P/Us and C&Cs. Or could be different years. I didn't look under my truck though. Sorry.

Maybe someone else can help.

Cheers, Ron

I recall seeing that connector on another forum somewhere, and, if I recall correctly, that is for trucks equipped with Front Park Sense.

The actual “jumper harness” for the fog lights is of a four pin variety, and ties in I believe under the TIPM.

If the OP desires....shoot me a PM and I can tell you how I did it on my previous Tradesman trucks.

Thanks to all, sag2, this explains why my truck has no fog lamp connector as it has no fog/headlamp switch, so, I will just use one of the AUX switches.
