I pull/deliver 5w's & trailers and on my old '96 installed a momentary button to turn out the rear lights so I could thank the big rigs who flash their light when okay to pull back into their lane. I do not know where to get into/splice the wiring on my new '04. Suggestions - make it simple if it is. JKL

If you have cab lights just splice into that wire. Easy to find right behind the A- pillar--pass. side I think. I'm thinking about putting my cab lights on my add-on trailer switch so I can put an interrupter in and blink my cab lights with my trailer lights. Shouldn't be too difficult, but that's a rainy day project.

Ok Ryan... Now you're scaring me! I'm not used to being called things like that. I'm more used to the other end of the spectrum. ;)

I am thinking about taking the fuse out that is for the trailer marker lights and hooking up a wire to one side and then to an other inline fuse and then to a momentary switch in the cab and the back to the fuse panel and then you have a pretty easy way to do wire it in, but it will only flash the trailer marker lamps, which is good enough I would think.

I was thinking about this today. Why not wire a momentary push button switch to both sides of the brake light switch? That way you can flash your brake lights without touching your brakes.

Bad idea Tim. You want to flash your running lights, not the brake lights. Otherwise they might think that you are slowing down just after you passed them.
