Wiring on rear axle?

Got a 03 2005 that I have owned now for about 4 weeks. Noticed wiring attached to the top of the rear diff. What is this for? These don't have a electrically actuated locking rear diff do they?

It is the wheel speed sensor/speedometer input. bg

Does that mean the front axle has one too? Have to look and see if there is any wiring going out to the wheels. I don't recall any wiring running out to the wheels.

There is a sensor in the Hub on each front wheel and one in the rear diff, all 3rd gens are that way.

3 channel ABS, a common way in these Times.

I think they went to a true 4 wheel ABS is 2012 or 13, somtime in the early 4th gens.
