There is another concept to when and what do you want the lights to do ! There is a wire under the driver's side a-piller/grap handle that feeds the CARGO LIGHT. This is powered up when A)the remote unlock is initiated B) the roller dash switch is positioned to CARGO . Both are timed out if forgoten. This method alloes illuminated entry into the vehicle at night from a distance. Unfortunatly , no on will see them when the truck is in motion ! Also ,the relay that this wire feeds under the hood is a good place to add in a feed to a set of inexpensive fog light to attach to the underside of the hood. WOOOOOW, what a well lit place to have to work if the need arises. I've even got enough light to blast the engine compartment of another vehicle when assisting others at night and as I said this cicuit is timed to go off if forgoten.
